While we were on vacation last month I heard of a whole house makeover that was taking place for a VERY deserving single mom and her kids. My mom was in charge of the 19 year-old girl's room. I only had a couple days so I knew I couldn't see the room from start to finish, but I had to jump in and help!
I went to the home and checked out the girl's bedroom. It was very bright (black trim, fluorescent green and turquoise paint), and totally teen. But this young lady wanted a change to something more feminine, mature, and it had to have roses. She wanted pinks, greens, yellows, and reds.
Her room was pretty small...but so are all the rooms in my house so I was used to that. I thought of a quick design and layout that would work for her room and sketched it out. They really liked it. So I had a plan!
It involved:
Better Homes and Gardens Sedona Red Tufted Bedding |
Behr Wickerware paint |
Board and Batten And of course a trip to the local DI thrift store! Stay tuned for a couple projects I completed for her! Lots o love, Megan |
